B/BB grade plywood

Plywood has four levels of appearance: A, B, C., D

A ": Advanced quality available. It can be flawless  This level may include occasional surface splitting for repair and comprehensive whitening. The surface is always sanded and provides a smooth paintable surface quality.

B ": The second highest quality surface finish level. Usually downgraded as a by product of "A" quality surface veneer. A solid surface, but may contain small diameter knots and narrow surface splitting. Usually repaired with wooden sockets or comprehensive white patches. The surface is usually smooth and sanded.

C": Considers the quality of the end face, but a reasonable choice is for general architectural design. Contains 1 type of tight knot ½ The diameter is determined by inches, some open wooden knobs, and some faces split and color change. Some manufacturers may repair defects and provide comprehensive repairs. The area is not typically paved with sand.

D": The lowest quality surface decorative panel and commonly used ones are the building grade panels for the rear surface. Considering several knots, large and small, and open knots consisting of 2 ½ Inch diameter determination. Open knots, splitting, and discoloration are acceptable. (1). Face/back : Okoume, Meranti, Luan, Bingtangor, Red Canarium, Red Hardwood, hardwood, Poplar, Birch

(2). The grade of face/back: B/BB grade F/B, i.e. B grade face, BB grade back.

(3). Core: poplar, hardwood or other required wood

(4). The grade of the core: AA grade, A+ grade, A grade, B+ grade (or other required grade)

(5). Glue: MR glue, WBP(melamine), WBP(phenolic), E1 glue

(6). Size: 1220X2440mm (4ftx 8ft)

(7). Thickness: 3mm-35mm (3.2mm / 3.6mm / 4mm / 5.2mm / 5.5mm / 6mm / 9mm / 12mm / 15mm / 18mm / 21mm-30mm or 1/4″, 5/16″, 3/8″, 7/16″, 1/2″, 9/16″, 5/8″, 11/16″, 3/4″, 13/16″, 7/8″, 15/16″, 1″ )

(8).Packing: Outer Packing-pallets are covered with plywood or carton boxes and strong steel belts

2. The characteristics of B/BB grade plywood

(1). The appearance looks good . The face is clean B grade, the back is BB grade .

(2). The plywood is very flat and smooth .

(3). The inner quality of the plywood is good and prices is higher .
